Biblical and Historical Antichrist Types

Three Old Testament Antichrist Types are Matched in the New Testament

• Nimrod (Genesis 10:8-10) – Diotrephes (3 John v 9)

• King Solomon (1 Kings 4:30, Testament of Solomon) – Simon the Sorcerer (Acts 8:9-10)

• Belshazzar (Daniel 5:11) – Publius (Acts 28:7-8)

Napoleon Bonaparte “The Antichrist” – Napoleon Bonaparte is considered the most complete and accurate modern type of the coming Biblical Antichrist.

Napoleon Bonaparte as a Type of the Biblical Antichrist

1. Napoleon was born on an Island (i.e. Mystery Babylon – “Prince of Tyre” Ezekiel 28)

2. Napoleon was born of Roman Ancestry in Corsica a fringe Island of the ancient Roman Empire (i.e. Publius Acts 28:7-8)

3. Napoleon’s father (co-reign) was still living when Napoleon began his career in Paris, France (i.e. King Solomon 1 Kings 1:30, King Solomon was also a younger brother not the firstborn son)

4. Napoleon was the 2nd born son having an older brother Joseph Bonaparte (i.e. Genesis 25:23 – the older brother shall serve the younger brother)

5. Napoleon’s Coronation on December 2, 1804 at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, France –  Napoleon refused to be crowned Emperor by the Catholic Pope and instead during the Coronation ceremony he grabbed the crowns from the officials and crowned himself King and Josephine Queen (i.e. a type of Satan Genesis 3:1-7, Isaiah 14:12-15, Ezekiel 28:12-18)
