As written in Psalm 27:5, &#8220;For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion,&#8221; using the Hebrew image of a sukkah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sukkot therefore teaches dependence upon God. That same principle is revealed in Yeshua&#8217;s teaching in Matthew 6:25\u200b-33, where He tells His disciples not to be consumed with anxiety over food or clothing, but to seek first the kingdom of God. Sukkot turns that teaching into a visible picture: even a fragile dwelling is secure when God is present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus Christ Himself even celebrated Sukkot.
